Ok this is a turd in progress let’s see what they do about it….. My letter to FTD:
I ordered the FTD® Sweet Splendor™ – description: Bouquet bursts with spectacular color, ushering in warmth and beauty with each sun-filled bloom! Orange spray roses, yellow miniature carnations and white traditional daisies create a dazzling arrangement set in a clear glass vase accented with a decorative ribbon to make a sweet and stunning gift for your special recipient.
What my Mom received was a small, cluttered, sad bouquet. It consisted of (5) roses Pink and (1) orange, (4) White Mums, (4) Huge yellow carnations, tones of cheap fern greenery, a cheap vase, and no ribbon to speak off. When she sent me the photo of the flowers I was mortified, they looked like grocery flowers, only smaller and in a cheaper vase. I ordered these flowers in particular for my Mother because of her love for Daisies and the simplicity of the arrangement. I understand the need to sometimes substitute, but this was unacceptable. Not only were the flowers sub-par the number of stems for the “Best” was well below the number portrayed in the photo, and the addition of fern greenery was awful. The whole arrangement was “substituted” not just one or two elements.
I do not want my money back; I want the flowers I ordered to be delivered to my Mother. My expectation is to receive the product that I ordered. I have pictures of the “arrangement” that was delivered if you need to see them. I am assuming I will be contacted in a timely matter concerning this order, and the complete lack of professionalism displayed by your FTD florist in Hawaii that processed this order.

The delivered bouquet is horrible. How could they even attempt to pass that off as what was ordered? Maybe they are blind, in which case the delivered arrangement as great. Otherwise, they really dropped the ball here. Let’s hope they make good on their customer service and replace the shitty arrangement. I always hate ordering flowers online for this very reason.

Its been three days, no response but 12, count then 12 emails for special offers and coupon codes and more flower crap to order from them.
Then I get this:

Well Amanda You can suck it! I want the goddamn flowers I ordered sent ASAP – time to make a phone call. You can investigate it all you want the proof is in the pictures and there is no way out of this FTD.
FTD needs to make good on this. Pictures prove that the flowers ordered were not what was delivered. Someone dropped the ball and it is ultimately up to FTD to make it right. Fix the problem, satisfy the customer and work out the details later.

I have received 12 offers and emails to buy more product from FTD but no resolution to my complaint. I have attached the photos for you to “investigate” but truly there is no need, you can clearly see the the product that was delivered was an embarrassment not only for me, but for FTD. I expect a new bouquet to be delivered.
If you are unable to handle this issue, please provide me with the contact information for someone who can.
Nothing was done, no response
So I called today and got Robin in Customer Service. She called the florist while I was hold, and offered me my up charge money back, NO! I said. Then she profusely apologized after I said either the florist delivers my bouquet I ordered per your website or give me all my money back and I will re-order through Proflowers. So then I was put on hold again, gawdawful muzak, 10 minutes later Robin comes on the phone “So sorry Mame, I apologize for the poor quality and the inconvenience I am going to have a new florist provide the flowers per order delivered tomorrow to your Mom” Robin was actually very nice and very sincere, excellent customer service.
Update tomorrow with Pictures to see if they can follow through…..
It just seems ridiculous, that you have to curse and perform in order to get what you want. I mean you are the customer, they need to keep you happy! I am sure you will never use them again?
